Happy New Year!!
Welcome to 2023 and another great year pack full of events for our Chapter.  We jump right into things with the Open House at Angler's Choice Marine in Martinsville where lots of boats will be on display.  WIth a variety of guest speakers lined up our chapter is very happy to once again be a part

Blue Ridge Heritage veterans fishing
Had a great time fishing with the veterans on May 15th.  Beautiful weather and some great fish were caught.   Thank you to all the SRTU members who came out to help.   I didn't take any pictures but hopefully some others did and can share with the chapter.

Gordon Leisch (sp?)
I met Gordon nearly 20 years ago when he still worked for the Department of Interior.  I remember him telling me that he had NEVER gone more than two days in a row without fishing the Potomac.  What a great guy.
